This role strengthens program quality through curriculum leadership, coaching, inclusive practices, and collaboration, while remaining in ratio as required by site needs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide ongoing support to the Early Learning Site Supervisor by leading curriculum implementation and offering guidance, feedback, and coaching to educators.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and deliver curriculum based on Early Learning for Every Child Today (ELECT) and <em>How Does Learning Happen?<\/em> pedagogy, while continuing to work in ratio as determined by site needs.<\/li>\n<li>Foster a safe, inclusive, equitable, and positive learning environment for children, families, and colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>Build caring, responsive, and respectful relationships with children and families.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor children\u2019s development, document progress, and participate in assessment and planning processes.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with operational tasks and collaborate on program improvement and quality-enhancement initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Provide opportunities for problem-solving, exploration, and decision-making through active, play-based learning.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), organizational policies and procedures, and all health and safety standards.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with families, staff, and stakeholders regarding children\u2019s progress and program updates.<\/li>\n<li>Administer and document medication and health-related information in accordance with policy and legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the Early Learning Site Supervisor and Administrative Associate to ensure data integrity related to scheduling, payroll, attendance, and billing.<\/li>\n<li>Provide up to 15 hours of dedicated program support time.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with onboarding and orientation of new staff.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in structured peer mentorship and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of professional learning, certifications, and credentials.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other related duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with a Resource Consultant Certificate.<\/li>\n<li>Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education.<\/li>\n<li>Member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an early childhood setting with demonstrated leadership abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting children with special needs.<\/li>\n<li>Valid First Aid and CPR-C certification (or a plan to obtain certification) and Food Handler certification within three months of hire.<\/li>\n<li>Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of child development, <em>How Does Learning Happen?<\/em>, ELECT, and the CCEYA.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Equity, Accessibility &amp; French Language Services<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Magic Triangle is committed to employment equity and encourages applications from individuals from equity-deserving groups.
